The study was tabled in April 2022. Implementation of the study\u2019s first recommendation, presented by consultant Pierre-Damien Arel, consisted of the creation of the position of a public safety and fire manager whose duties would consist primarily of implementing the study\u2019s recommendations and guiding the various partners through the public safety and emergency measures\u2019 files and issues.
