On September 22, 2016, in connection with a historic vote taken at the Acadian Peninsula Regional Service Commission (APRSC) board’s regular meeting, the board members unanimously approved the addition of the Acadian Peninsula Airport volunteer service. The APRSC thus became the province’s first regional service commission to add a volunteer service to its existing range of services.
