What is the APRSC?

The 12 regional service commissions were established in 2013 to facilitate the necessary collaboration between communities, to ensure they can better meet the service needs of residents and to benefit from collective efforts aimed at strengthening the regions. In 2023, major changes were made to local governance. The main changes were the consolidation of several communities and the expansion of the regional service commissions’ mandates.

Mission

The APRSC is the rallying voice of the Acadian Peninsula, bringing together communities and developing collaborative solutions.

Vision

The APRSC seeks to be the leader in fostering regional services’ excellence and peninsula-wide collaboration.

Values

The goal of the Acadian Peninsula Regional Service Commission (APRSC) is to promote and develop certain fundamental values, both in its relations with member communities, partners and residents, and within its own organization.

Excellence

We strive to provide the best possible services and to constantly improve ourselves.

Creativity

We have the ability to successfully complete both new projects and those adapted to the regional context.

Transparency

We provide clients and stakeholders with information on how our programs are operating and how improvements can be made.

Honesty

We focus on openness and honesty in our relationships with our clients, employees and stakeholders to build public confidence.

Integrity

We adhere to a strict code of ethics and conduct.

Responsibility

We are keenly aware of our obligation to meet our commitments and to assume the consequences.
